Because of its adaptability and easy-going nature, T.N. Nursery often suggests the yarrow plant for the most challenging growing conditions.
Appearance
This plant averages two to three feet in height at maturity
Each plant features glossy, dark green stems with graceful, six-inch-long, fern-like leaves.
Characteristics
The flowers appear in the late weeks of summer or early fall
Small, under one-inch-wide flowers with five ray-shaped petals emerge in abundance. They have yellow or light green centers. These petite blossoms form in dense, showy clusters of twenty or more. At first glance, the Yarrow plants appear like a single giant flower.
The plant emits a pleasing, spicy fragrance that intensifies if you break open a stem to release its oils.
