The River Birch's bloom season is from April to May
The male tree produces brownish leaves, and the females produce green leaves. The tree produces beautiful leaves, many lasting through the winter season. During the spring, the tree and the male flowers, which are catkins, produce cylinder-looking flower clusters with little to no petals.
