Black Haw Viburnum Shrubs

Black Haw Viburnum was used as medicine by Native Americans. The bush brings aesthetics and utility to anywhere it's planted. It is a beautiful addition to any garden, featuring dark green leaves and large, showy white blooms in season, usually starting mid-spring. Edible fruits (appearing late in the year) are a favorite of native birds.

Black Haw Viburnum Shrubs Love Sun Shine And Dry Soil

It is native to the Woodlands Habitat, and it has plenty of sun, adequate moisture, and well-drained soil. Its spreading, irregular shape and crooked trunk lend a unique quality to hedges and other boundaries while providing an effective barrier. Alone or in a fence, it requires little maintenance unless drought conditions are present.

This Tree Reaches 15 Feet High

It will grow to be around 15 feet high when fully developed. It grows well in full sunlight and will also do well in partially shaded areas.

It is an excellent bush because it adapts to various soil conditions. It will give your lawn a burst of color in autumn with orange and red leaves. It will also be beautiful with the white blooms it will provide for you during the spring and summer.

It Can Be A Tree Or A Shrub

The tree form can vary from a multi-branched low bush to tree-like. The leaves are shaped like plum family species but with serrated edges and a waxier gloss.

This plant produces fruit that attracts small wildlife creatures. This bush is native to the United States, from Missouri through Ohio to lower New England.

This Bush Has Stunning Red Foliage In Spring

The large Black Haw Viburnum Shrubs have small red-tinted leaves that appear in the spring. It can grow naturally in eastern portions of the United States and is best in clay soils and full-sun areas.

Black Haw Viburnum blooms from May through June, the hot part of summer. Its white blooms are preferred over dry conditions with regular water. This plant can be used to attract small wildlife creatures.

As tall as advertised. Wonderfully dormant. Delay in expected shipment date, but hasn't everything been during the pandemic?
